Note on Biodiversity, Waterways and Wetlands Overlay Maps *Areas not identified by the Biodiversity, Waterways and Wetlands Overlay Maps may also contain Ecologically Important Areas, rare or threatened flora and fauna species or their supporting habitat. Development occurring in such areas will also be assessable against the Biodiversity, Waterways and Wetlands Overlay Code. * Overlays provide a trigger for consideration of an overlay issue to be verified by further onsite investigations. * In certain circumstances preexisting development approvals may override the operation of an overlay.
